Just four kilometers away from the federal lands of Salzburg and close to Wals-Siezenheim, the Klessheim Palace sprawls, boasting architectural delicacies of the eighteenth century in the Baroque style. At one time, it hosted guests of the local archbishop, organizing solemn meetings, and more recently, the green baize of the casino has replaced the bright red clerical vestments within its walls. The Klessheim building has its own ceremonial hall, wide terraces leading enchanted tourists directly into the garden, and the main entrance is complemented by a magnificent fountain with triton sculptures, loggias, and large staircases. Moreover, the palace is adjoined by a landscape park in the conservative English style.
