Apart from the city by the Black Sea, known for its intriguing architectural monuments, magnificent parks, and squares, there exists another Odessa, depicted by the "Mysteries of Underground Odessa" museum. Established in 2013 by members of the VNK "Military Valor," it captivatingly shines a light on the centuries-old history of the catacombs, whose total length exceeds 3,000 kilometers.

Originally, these catacombs were quarries where limestone was mined - a stone used for constructing Odessa's buildings. Later, they were used by smugglers, bandits, underground fighters, and partisans.

Interestingly, the catacombs maintain a constant temperature of +14°C throughout the year, so tourists are advised to bring warmer clothes for the tour.

Занимательное место, завораживает своей историей и атмосферой духа ещё тех времён, тем кто хочет увидеть Одессы с иной, глубокой и таинственной её стороны стоит посетить.

Рекомендую при відвідувані Одеси обов'язково сходити, дуже цікаве місце, голове що б гід(дігер) був "Дмитро" (парубок ±18-20 років), саме завдяки йому похід в підземелля стає цікавим і веселим, він не розповідає нудний завчений текст, а додає шарм. Рекомендую записуватись заздалегідь. Дуже цікаво, раджу.

Очень классное место, советую посетить. Главное одеваться теплее, ибо температура внизу значительно ниже плюс сырость. На входе выдают каску и фонарик, и весь путь вы освещаете самостоятельно. В катакомбах освещения нет. Под конец экскурсии пили чай с бубликами, а ещё угощают наливкой.
