The Odessa Archaeological Museum is one of the oldest in Ukraine, home to a unique collection of exhibits dedicated to ancient times. The museum building was erected in 1825, and in 1883 a vestibule extension was added, allowing the display of ancient sculptures for visitors to view.

All the most intriguing and valuable exhibits of the museum are arranged in its 10 halls in such a way as to narrate the gradual development of history, starting from the first human settlements on the territory of Southern Palmyra and ending with the IX-XIV centuries of our era.

The museum is particularly proud of its extensive collection of ancient coins and medals, as well as the Egyptian hall.

Gathering such an interesting and multifaceted exhibition might not have been possible if the Odessa Society of History and Antiquities, which had the unique right to conduct excavations from the mid to the end of the 19th century, had not engaged in this endeavor.

В Археологическом музее собрана отличная коллекция, насчитывающая около 150 тыс. раритетных экспонатов. Потому здесь понравится каждому, кто хоть частично интересуется древней историей. В музее есть памятники культуры Древней Греции, Северного Причерноморья, Римской империи. Также в коллекции представлены предметы археологии и книги мецената П.Бларамберга.

К сожалению экспонатов нет как нам сказали во всех остальных их тоже нет жаль что не смогли посмотреть

На зараз основні експонати сховано. Бачив експозицію про знахідки на острові Зміїний. Виявились, з античних часів острів було освоєно . Храм Ахілла містився тут
