Historia i znaczenie Parafia pw. Świętego Syra (San Siro) znajduje się w miejscowości San Siro, będącej częścią gminy Torrile, na północ od Parmy. Kościół został zbudowany już w średniowieczu, a najwcześniejsze świadectwo jego istnienia pochodzi z roku 1230, gdy wspomniano o kaplicy „Capelle S. Syri” jako części plebanii w Castelnovo . W 1564 roku kościół uzyskał status samodzielnej parafii  . W XVIII stuleciu nadbudowano romańską wieżę dzwonniczą. Ostatnia poważna modyfikacja wnętrza nastąpiła około 1905 roku, wraz z budową bocznych kaplic. Pomimo tych zmian, pierwotna struktura średniowieczna została zachowana  . W 2014 roku świątynia została częściowo zalana podczas powodzi, ale po gruntownym sprzątaniu i renowacji została ponownie otwarta w 2016 roku . ⸻ 🏛 Architektura i wnętrze Kościół ma prostą fasadę w stylu romanico-neoklasycznym, z portykiem i freskiem przedstawiającym św. Syra nad wejściem. Posiada jedną nawę główną oraz po jednej bocznej kaplicy po każdej stronie. Wieża dzwonnicza jest wykonana z cegieł, a jej stylowe detale to wczesnobarokowe elementy charakterystyczne dla lat 1800–1900 . Wnętrze kryje cenne dzieła: fresk przedstawiający św. Jana Chrzciciela i św. Rocha oraz obraz św. Syra, a także fragmenty starych przedmiotów liturgicznych. Nad prezbiterium wznosi się marmurowy ołtarz z 1980 roku, ujęty w kamienną architekturę dawnego kościoła . Buty mi zmoczyło ale poza tym okej
