Franz Kafka Monument in Prag
Über
The monument to F. Kafka in Prague is relatively young. It only appeared in the very center of the Czech capital in 2003. The monument was designed by the fairly well-known architect Jaroslav Rona.
The idea behind the monument is open to several interpretations. According to one of them, the suit carrying a man on its shoulders conveys the essence of one of the stories by the famous Austro-Hungarian novelist. The story's protagonist, envious of a random fellow traveler, decided to see the world through his eyes, for which he jumped onto the traveler's shoulders. The feeling of envy dissipated immediately when the person in the "foreign skin" realized that everyone bears their own cross and there are simply no people who would be happy always and everywhere.
But this is just one of numerous versions, since the creator of the sculpture deliberately did not reveal its concept, in order not to deprive the curious human mind of its food for thought.

Sympa à voir

It is nice area with meaningful statue of Kafka adopted from his book that gives confusion feeling.

Escultura surrealista y muy original en homenaje a Franz Kafka, da gusto pasear por una ciudad con tanto arte, está ubicada al lado de la sinagoga española
