Haasbeck Castle in Brussels
About
From the very first glance, Gaasbeek Castle catches the eye with its unabashed luxury and medieval beauty. It is located in a commune named Lennik, to the southwest of Brussels.
Gaasbeek Castle, being one of the largest in all of Belgium, is literally surrounded by a cascade of ponds and natural parks. The building has undergone one destruction down to its foundation and a subsequent reconstruction that recreated its original appearance. After this, Gaasbeek was transferred to state ownership and today, it is known as a museum. Here you can find numerous objects and documents from the fifteenth century, as well as a miraculously preserved bath with all the attributes of the early nineteenth century.

Lovely place 👍
