About

The Museum of Fine Arts boasts one of the largest collections of sculptures and paintings in all of Belgium. Its foundational stone was laid back in the nineteenth century, and not a single day has passed without groups of tourists from various countries and continents visiting its numerous galleries.

Interestingly, the Museum of Fine Arts includes four more museums within the same building. Modern art, ancient culture, as well as the museums of Constantin Meunier and Antoine Wiertz - the total number of items in the endless mazes of exhibitions amounts to over 20,000 objects. Special attention deserves the works of Flemish and Belgian masters, which often attract the attention of connoisseurs and admirers of genuine beauty.

We recommend visiting this museum with the combined ticket that includes the Magritte Museum. That said, we want to make it clear: this is a wonderful artistic and cultural experience you simply can’t miss if you’re visiting the capital. It not only holds incredibly beautiful works of art, but it’s also a peaceful, stunning, and super photogenic place. Don’t miss it!
