La piazza pur presentandosi elegante è più famosa per essere la sede della Porta di Brandeburgo. E' pure sede di diverse ambasciate ed un hotel di lusso.

здесь находятся Бранденбургские Ворота и начинается главная улица Берлина - Унтер-ден-Линден. Поэтому это место пропустить невозможно физически. Также на площади расположены Американское, Британское и чуть вдалеке Российское посольства. Сама по себе площадь довольна симпатична, всегда много молодежи и туристов.
