Sagrada Familia Temple in Barcelona
About
The Basilica of the Sagrada Família has witnessed many generations of Spaniards and has earned the honorable title of the world's most famous long-term construction project. Its construction has lasted for over a hundred years, but it was only recently that church services began to be held inside the basilica.
The reason for such a prolonged construction is architect Gaudí's desire to meticulously recreate the entire New Testament. Additionally, there is a legend which states that the completion of the work will mark the end of the world. The basilica exhibits all the features of the Gothic style, boasting 12 tall spires representing the apostles and one other spire that significantly surpasses the rest in size. The Sagrada Família is known to every tourist, as evidenced by its annual visitor count of over two million people.

Famous Barcelona place still under construction. Design is greater than any other church all over the world. Gaudi was great designer.

Absolutely amazing to see this cathedral. We had the guided tour, which was much better than expected and the guide went through lots of small details about the history and the significance of things on the building. Lots of cool things you won’t find out from a YouTube video.
