About

In Barcelona, the Design Museum stands out as a vibrant haven for design aficionados and curious minds alike. With an engaging permanent exhibit spotlighting the design innovations of the 50s and 60s, visitors are transported through time to explore the evolution of style and aesthetics. The museum's current temporary exhibition puts women designers in the spotlight, offering a fresh perspective on the contributions made to the world of design.

Explorers of this space will delight in the diverse collections encompassing fashion, textiles, graphics, and product design, all curated to highlight the profound impact of design on everyday life. The architecture itself is a visual treat, reflecting the creativity showcased within, although be advised the wheelchair access could be more streamlined.

Families will find it a welcoming space for children to engage with, thanks to its interactive and visually stimulating displays. For those planning a visit, consider timing it with the first Sunday of the month for free admission, allowing you to immerse yourself in the museum's offerings without the cost. English explanations accompany each exhibit, making it accessible for international visitors eager to dive into Barcelona's unique design narrative.

TODO LO DEMAS BIEN BONITO Y BIEN CUIDADO. POR FAVOR NO PERMITIR ESAS CONDUCTAS PARA QUE ESO SE CONSERVE
