About
Santa Anna Church in Barcelona is a striking blend of Romanesque and Gothic architecture, dating back to the 12th century. Its design follows a Greek cross plan, providing a unique spatial experience. Visitors can admire the Gothic-style cloister and roof, which enhance the church's historical aesthetic. An ancient marker cross stands as a testament to its long history. Beyond its architectural marvels, Santa Anna Church is notable for its dedicated involvement with the community, particularly through its daily meal distribution for the homeless. Rated 4.5 on Google, this church opens its doors from 10:00 AM and welcomes everyone without an entrance fee, offering both a visual feast and a place for contemplation.
