Royal Square in Barcelona
About
The Royal Square is located near La Rambla of Capuchins, from which a small street will lead any passerby to the famous romantic corner of Barcelona. It is here that dates are most often arranged and couples spend their evenings, peacefully strolling among the sprawling palm trees and glowing street lamps.
By the way, the street lamps in the Royal Square are also a landmark. Each of them marked the beginning of Gaudí's creative journey in Barcelona, where he spent the rest of his life. You can also find here the elegant fountain "Three Graces," which at night is literally immersed in the bright light reflections of the upscale restaurants and cafés. Another notable place on the square is the monument to the poet Frederic Soler and the building of the first theater, Principal.
