About

The idea to recreate the events of the Warsaw Uprising originated from the city's residents, and by 1983, the Warsaw Uprising Museum was officially opened. Almost 750 valuable exhibits and about a thousand photo cards, testifying to the grand events. Endless telephone wires, a narrative ribbon of combat actions, parts of the sewers, and underground mail - all this is presented to the visitor. The museum is designed to immerse everyone into those years, envelop them in the fog of war, and even let them listen to explosions and barely audible conversations. Four entire floors await a thorough review, where every impression is vivid and unforgettable. Those who can share a story or an item are more than welcome here. After all, the museum sponsors the expansion of its collection, aiming to fill it as completely as possible.

Probably the most interesting museum in Warsaw , but gets very crowded around midday.
