Once the property of Polish king Augustus II, today it serves as a functional Center for Contemporary Art that has organized nearly 600 diverse exhibitions since 1990. Ujazdowski Castle is a major cultural venue that has undergone reconstructions and modifications but has retained its royal charm and allure. The building was burnt down to the ground in 1944, but was reconstructed over the years. Now, it is surrounded by countless trees, with a small pond located opposite. Neat paths diverge in various directions, leading the trusting tourists along. Concerts and seminars often take place inside, inviting esteemed audiences from different places.
