About

As often happens, many active educational institutions and administrations suddenly become points of interest for tourists - this is a consequence of their historical development, where time has polished all the rough edges of these places, creating a unique product distinguished by its beauty and uniqueness.

Vilnius University will appeal to tourists who want to visit an active educational institution and also view the city from a bird's eye view: the bell tower, located within the university, serves as the highest point of the Old Town, offering incredible views. Just keep in mind that entrance to the university grounds is subject to a fee, naturally, the amount is quite symbolic, but still, don't forget your wallet when visiting significant tourist spots.

Vilnius University is a gorgeous complex, worthy of some time devoted to visiting. There were tickets being sold for acess to some part of the University. I opted to see what was available to the public without a ticket, including the Church of St. John's. A visit to the University is very much worth your time wgen in Vilnius.
