About

In world history, one can read about significant visits by state figures to a particular country (primarily to its capital), where discussions on sovereignty over lands and the protection of territories were held. However, few ponder exactly where ambassadors, princes, monarchs, emperors, and other rulers of states arrived...

The Presidential Palace is one of the attractions of Vilnius, accessible to tourists for free: just walk through the gates of the National University, and you're inside! Additionally, tours are offered every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. You can watch the changing of the guard at 6 p.m. daily, and the changing of the flags at noon every Sunday - all of which impress with their ceremony and grandeur. When visiting such places, it's important to figure out when there will be the fewest tourists, otherwise, you might get stuck in a "human traffic jam".
