About

The Jewish quarter is located away from the center of Vilnius, where you can find the Jewish history museum, orthodox communities live, and there is a special atmosphere.

The situation of Jews in Eastern Europe has always been ambiguous, and by the start of the Great Patriotic War (World War II), the situation escalated - all of this led to inevitable consequences, which are reflected in the local Jewish history museum.

Unfortunately, you won't encounter Russian or Lithuanian here, only English - such peculiarities of the local population slightly scare tourists, hence there are significantly fewer tourists here compared to other areas of Vilnius. Walking through the streets of the Jewish quarter, one can see the unique way of life of its inhabitants, who are humble and submissive. There aren't too many entertainments here, but if you look around, you might still find a small café or an inn.
