Sigmund Freud Museum in Vienna
About
The Sigmund Freud Museum, located at Berggasse 19, is currently perhaps the most famous address in Vienna. Freud lived at this address from 1891 to 1938, and on June 4th, 1938, fled with his family from the National Socialists to England. The museum consists of several rooms, some of which were part of the Freud family's living quarters, while others served as work offices. Here, you can see original interior items, including the reception area, as well as Freud's items from his private collection of antiques, authentic manuscripts, and first editions of works, his personal belongings, and work utensils.

great experience, especially if you are interested in freud and his work. well thought exhibition.

A profound journey into the mind As someone passionate about psychoanalysis, visiting the Sigmund Freud Museum was a deeply meaningful experience. Walking through Freud’s preserved study and personal spaces gave me a unique connection to the father of psychoanalysis. The exhibits thoughtfully showcase his groundbreaking theories and complex life, making it an inspiring and intimate exploration for anyone fascinated by the workings of the human mind.
