My favorite ramen in SF! Normally we get the black garlic tonkotsu ramen but I recently had the spicy tantanmen as well and it was also delicious! All ramen dishes come with an egg which is an extra plus. Often no wait too. Skip the line at Hinodeya and come give it a try!

The black garlic tonkotsu ramen is absolutely incredible. They cook the pork bone broth for longer than half a day, and the broth is so creamy that I thought it was made with dairy! The pork is also so flavorful. I'd rate this among the top ramen I've had in SF. I'll note that we also got the shishito peppers, and those weren't worth it at all, but we also got dessert (matcha mont blanc) which definitely hit the spot after dinner!

Tasty Ramen, Empty Room 🍜🧄 While we were slightly early to dinner here, there was still no one and only one other party had arrived when we finished our meal, even though it was on a weekend. The server was very efficient since we were the only ones there but not the chattiest or most welcoming (which is fine by me). The ramen was very filling and delicious—I would definitely come back. Other than that, I just wish it was a bit more crowded.
