Don't believe the menu, it's enough food for 4 people haha It's delicious, the one thing I would do different is get the good meat since the cheapest option has a lot of hard to chew parts.

This place was amazing. I went with a party of three on Monday, and the wait for a table was 0 seconds, (we got a table upon entry.) We sat down and were served water, and the waiter was super nice. About 5 minutes later, we were served some great appetizers. If you don't like spicy, then maybe avoid some of the dishes because they are a little spicy. After a little bit of time, I was served my main course, which was a steaming stone pot with delicious beef along with rice and vegetables. I don't exactly remember what it is called, but it is amazing. I finished most of it, and it was delicious. San Francisco is a little far from my house, but I think there is a location in San Mateo, and I will definitely going there, and if there is no location there, I'm coming back here. If I am doing anything in San Francisco, DEFINITELY coming back, no doubt. If I could rate this over 5 stars, I would.

Best kalbijim in town...even if I didn't live in SF I would travel to eat here. Atmosphere is fun with lots of cute shopping around in Japantown
