The hospitality was exceptional and the wait staff was incredibly attentive throughout our visit. While I appreciate that they source from local farms, I was somewhat disappointed with the flavours in the dishes we ordered. The daikon came with a creative and interesting dipping sauce, but both the turnip cake and chow fun were salty and lacked the balanced flavours I've come to expect from Chinese cuisine. We've certainly experienced more flavorful and well-seasoned versions of these dishes at Chinese restaurants back home with a lower price point. The excellent service definitely elevated the experience, but the seasoning and flavor development could use some refinement.

Last minute splurge, we booked the only appt, last one of the night. But luckily they notified us that an earlier spot opened up. The food took on an interesting take on Hong Kong cuisine. Our favorites were the choeng fun (with clam!), silken tofu (lots of tofu and made in-house tofu), and the chrysanthemum milk tea (lactose intolerant friendly).
