About
Grand Opening in San Francisco's Chinatown offers a diverse range of dining experiences with its eclectic mix of restaurants, cafes, and bakeries. Known for its budget-friendly options, this popular spot attracts both locals and visitors with a price range of $10 to $20 per person. With an impressive Google rating of 4.4, it's no surprise that some dishes are incredibly popular, like the mouthwatering scallion bao and the succulent milk bun. The light and airy Parisian egg tart delights with its delicate custard, while the coconut scroll leaves guests craving more. Fans of pineapple pie regard it as a standout choice, though keep in mind that the famed burnt honey pie often sells out quickly. While the wait might stretch to an hour, the delectable offerings make it worth the visit. Despite being on the pricier side, the quality of the food justifies the cost.

Amazing scallion bao. Unfortunately they ran out of the burnt honey pie. Definitely get in line before they open- at least 10-15minutes before. I got in line right when they opened and had to wait and hour for my turn.

The bags of cookies (Chocolate Peanut Toffee Cookie and Passion Fruit Caramel) that I purchased through the web site were advertised there as serving "6-8." Thus, when I picked up my order, I was surprised that each bag contained not 8 cookies, not 6 cookies, but only 4 medium-sized cookies. In other words, the actual serving size was 4, not the "6-8." Good cookies, but stretching the truth is not a way to build a loyal customer base.

So good!!! We got 6 pastries for 2 people, everything was so good. My favorite was caramelized pineapple pie, milk bun, melon bun with ham, and passion fruit custard bun. Started staying in line 5 min before opening, and I think we go the last caramelized pineapple pie. so, if wanna get the popular items, make sure to come there early
