⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Highly recommended (1=Avoid, 3=Standard, 5=Can't Miss). San Francisco is home to many great bakeries, but B. Patisserie is a local and international staple. Peak hours should be avoided and parking can be a little bit of pain since you'll have to find street parking somewhere nearby. There is a good amount of seating, but can be challenging on a weekend. Their menu is vast, but I would stick with the laminated pastries and skip the tartines and desserts. The banana chocolate almond croissant is something I've only been able to find here and is one of their signature offerings.
