I lived in France for five years and have an Impossibly high bar, especially for classic French bistro fare. This place is so authentic it feels ripped out of Paris or Lyon. Impeccable wine list at every price level. Exquisite food and attentive but not obsequious service. If you love authentic, pan-regional French food (not nouvelle cuisine but the classics, from bœuf bourguignon to truffle risotto to perfect and delicate fried potatoes), look no further. This will be your new favorite French bistro on the west coast, maybe in all of les états unis, mes amis.
