Wilkommen was recommended to me by a friend at UCSF. It was a block away from my hotel, Beck's Motor Lodge. I had the schnitzel with augratin potatoes with gravy. And don't forget the beer. While they were out of my preferred stout, I had a nice hazy IPA called Lazers in the Jungle. It was a great experience. I'll be back on my next trip to the Castro District. I hear my name being called by a bratwurst.

Love their happy hour. Awesome staff and cool place to hang out after work. They have iced tea if you want no alcohol no sugar option.

Cute & hip German-inspired pub for beer and grub. Offers some vegan and gluten-free food options. Nice ambience, with lots of natural wood. Lots of seating at long picnic tables, which suit the atmosphere perfectly but get uncomfortable after a while. Cool decor.
