Mentaiko spaghetti has amazing umami it's a must try. Chicken Karage and Gyudon is also pretty good. Super cozy and chill place in Mission. The line was about 15 mins wait after 1pm on Friday

The gyoza are incredibly the worst gyoza I’ve ever had; they were brunt, tasteless, and served with a yuzu sauce that overpowered it. The takoyaki isn’t served with bonito flakes and lacks flavor as well. Very mushy too. Chicken karage was really chicken tenders honestly. Miso was half onion and lacked flavor. I never saw onion in miso soup before today. The hijiki salad went kinda hard and is the reason this isn’t a one star. Actually, the chicken katsu slapped too. That and the cute large hot sake cups. I’m upping this to three stars. This restaurant should really rework their small dishes. 2025-09 edit: we came back for a lunch menu. The katsu curry still goes hard. Mentaiko spaghetti is a bit too salty. Yuzunade is good and the hojicha latte is also pretty good, if a bit mild on flavor.
