John Lennon's Wall in Prague
About
In 1980, one of the frontmen of the popular British rock band "The Beatles", John Lennon, passed away. At that time, The Beatles were still hugely popular worldwide, so the news of Lennon's death was a true shock, including for Czech fans. They needed a way to express their grief, and quite quickly, one of Prague's most extraordinary landmarks came into being - the John Lennon Wall.
Although hits from the Liverpool foursome are not as popular nowadays, the Lennon Wall continues to be updated with new images, inscriptions, and poems. While originally, the slogans on it were primarily a way to express protest against the communist regime of Gustav Husak, now they are predominantly messages of love and peace on Earth.

Curioso muro.
