About
Old Town Square, or as the locals call it, Staromak, is a beautiful place that possesses not only ancient history but is also ready to share tales of great events of the past with everyone interested. It attracts a large number of tourists from various countries in every season. Historically, Old Town Square has always been the largest trading and social center. It covers an area of about 15 square meters, and here, not only were important decisions for the country made, but justice was also administered. The square is crossed by the Prague meridian, which is only mentioned by a bronze plaque. Surrounding the square are attractive buildings, and it's worth noting a peculiarity of Prague houses: each of them has a basement equipped with a beer pub. The houses around the square boast a variety of architectural styles: here, Gothic sits next to Rococo, while Renaissance peacefully coexists with Baroque. For anyone who finds themselves in the historical center of Prague even for a few minutes, Old Town Square is sure to leave a lasting impression!

Reviews and Ratings

Must visit place very cool Astronomical Clock.
