About
Prague Castle is a fortress that was founded back in the 9th century. From the very first days of its existence, it has been regarded as not only a political but also a cultural center of the Czech Republic.
The tour of the landmark begins at Hradčany Square, where the Schwarzenberg-Lobkowicz Palace houses the military history museum. Also located here are the Archbishop's Palace and the Sternberg Palace.
Moving on, one cannot help but notice the ceremonial gates, near which, every day at noon sharply, a ceremonial ritual takes place - the changing of the guard. Beyond the gates, you directly enter Prague Castle, which is divided into three courtyards by stone walls. In the first courtyard is the Theresian Palace, in the second - two fountains, the Chapel of the Holy Cross, and a Renaissance-era well.
The third courtyard is situated within the oldest part of the Castle. Here, one can behold the country's most significant pilgrimage center and crown jewel, the impressive St. Vitus Cathedral with its grand scale and architecture St. Vitus Cathedral.

We were on a sightseeing Run through Prague and had to stop by. We got overloaded by tourists, which was to expectet I guess. The Castle itself is amazing!

Sehr schön die Kombination von Burg Dom und Gärten

Piekne miejsce bez języka Polskiego choć historii sąsiedzkiej tu wiele. Warto wejść nie tylko pooglądać z zewnątrz. Bilet rodzinny z max 2 dzieci do 15 roku życia. Dzieci powyżej to już studenci -trochę taniej. Warto kupić bilet gdyż jest na kilka miejsc w tym Złotą Uliczkę do obiektów których też Warto wejść nie tylko zobaczyć z zewnątrz. Polecam
