About

The Malaga Mosque stands as a stunning example of Islamic architecture in the vibrant city of Málaga. Commissioned by King Fahd, this architectural gem captivates visitors with its intricate features and a beautifully sculpted dome. Open to both men and women, the mosque spans two floors and houses three spacious prayer halls, offering a welcoming atmosphere for worship. With a high Google rating of 4.7, it's no surprise that it is a cherished site for both locals and visitors.

Given its limited parking space, it's advisable to arrive early, especially if you plan to attend the Jummah prayer, with the Khutbah starting at 2:30 pm followed by the prayer at 3 pm. While the mosque in Cordoba remains inaccessible, the Malaga Mosque serves as a beacon of hope for the Ummah. Please note that the mosque is only open before and after prayer times, making it a serene and spiritual stop during your visit to Málaga.

Big mosque around Málaga's city centre. It has a madrasa too. Nice facilities and Andalusian architecture. Though dark and quite empty when I visited.
