La Chiesa di Santo Domingo è la chiesa più grande del centro storico di Malaga, dopo la Cattedrale dell'Incarnazione. È un edificio in stile gotico-mudéjar, costruito nel XV secolo dopo la riconquista cristiana e dichiarato Bene di Interesse Culturale. Si trova sulla riva occidentale del fiume Guadalmedina, un tempo periferia di Malaga, ed è accessibile dal centro storico tramite il Puente de los Alemanes (Ponte dei Tedeschi). Architettonicamente, il suo interno è diviso in tre navate separate da archi a tutto sesto. Questo tempio, noto tra i malaghegni come Convento di Santo Domingo per la sua storia come convento, è una delle principali attrazioni della Settimana Santa di Malaga. È la sede canonica di diverse confraternite: la Confraternita dei Dolori del Ponte, la Confraternita dell'Umiliazione, la Confraternita della Cena e la Congregazione della Mena. Uno degli aspetti più simbolici della Chiesa di Santo Domingo è l'esterno dell'altare del Cristo della Buona Morte, un'immagine iconica della Settimana Santa di Malaga che viene portata in processione il Giovedì Santo.
