In one week in Lisbon, this was the place where we ate the best. We were trying to find a place where you could eat good Portuguese but keeping the local essence (avoiding any touristic influence). This place was great for that, considering it was the only one where the menu was only in Portuguese. Despite the menu being in Portuguese, the service was great and all our doubts were properly explained. The fish in many forms was always paired perfectly. The Tartar de Carapau was brilliant, also the croquettes (Rissol de Berbigao) and the fish soup. As main dishes we shared Raia and Xerem (polenta style) with shrimp, also perfect. The desserts were also great, the wine selection as well (and very decently priced) If you want a truly Portuguese high end experience at great prices, don't hesitate to visit.
