Disappointing Experience – Would Not Return Our group had a reservation at 7:00 PM, and I arrived on time ahead of the rest of the party. To my surprise, the waiter informed me that no reservation existed under our name. Despite politely insisting that we did, we were made to wait outside in the cold. I asked if we could at least use the restroom while we waited, but the waiter curtly responded that the bathroom was closed. Approximately 5 minutes later, the rest of our group arrived and confirmed that the reservation had indeed been correctly made. At that point, I attempted to use the restroom again—only to find it had been open all along. This level of dishonesty and disregard for guests left a very poor impression. Unfortunately, the dining experience did not improve from there. The service left a lasting negative impression that made it difficult to enjoy the meal. Compared to the other restaurants we visited during our Lisbon group tour—which included several enjoyable venues with 3-course meals, this was by far the most disappointing. The food itself was mediocre. Appetizers were underwhelming, the main course lacked flavor, and the dessert—a deconstructed crème brûlée—was barely touched by many at our table. While I refrained from making a scene at the time, the experience was deeply unsatisfying. I would not return, even if the meal were complimentary. Unfortunately, this was the worst dining experience I had during our week in Lisbon.
