Chernobyl Museum in Kyiv
About
The "Chernobyl" Museum is a multifunctional historical and cultural institution that combines preservation, archiving, and public dissemination of information about the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant disaster with cultural, educational, and scientific activities. It was opened on the sixth anniversary of the tragedy in Kyiv. According to the organizers, their goal is to help people comprehend the full scale of the disaster and its possible consequences. The museum hosts both regular and temporary exhibitions. Exhibits are dedicated to both the nuclear power plant itself and the memory of the people who were sent to mitigate the aftermath of the accident.
