Emerging in 1884 and causing a real sensation and explosion worldwide, the exhibition by Marie Grosholtz became known to virtually everyone. She is more commonly known as Madame Tussauds, with her famous wax figures located in 400 branches across the globe. The Berlin representative of this art holds 80 statues of popular personalities - Kennedy, Churchill, Monroe, and Johnny Depp. Time and personality have blended here, as if there are no longer any imaginary borders and languages, only the hardened wax of history that "cries" as soon as you direct it towards the fire or mention someone by word. A frozen gaze, a weary look, or a radiant smile - everything here lives, except it does not breathe. Madame Tussauds herself passed away 6 years after the opening of her first museum - invisibly guided by the hands of her grandchildren, she still rules over her wax kingdom.
