Dear Cardinal Team, From the first to the very last minute, everything was phenomenal. The tasting menu was impressive both in taste and creativity and the service was professional and warm. We had a fantastic time. Our highlights were the cucumber soup, the Guinness and chilli oysters, the mackerel, the monkfish cheek, the duck, the cheddar pastel de nata and the mint dessert, so almost every dish! We were the first ones to arrive and the last ones to leave the restaurant and I almost pity the other parties for not having spent more time at this beautiful restaurant. I hope I’ll be back.

The oyster with Guinness and chili was the absolute star of the tasting menu followed closely by the cucumber soup with trout roe and dill - both such creative and pleasantly unexpected pairings that some other courses felt underwhelming by comparison. My lactose intolerance and I had severe fomo when the lobster course was substituted with egg. The team had prepared a small birthday cake for us, which wasn’t served (?) but we got to take away and enjoy the next day.

We had an amazing dinner at Cardinal. They serve a tasting menu with about 8-10 courses depending if you add the possible extras. Every course was absolutely exceptional and very creative. The restaurant is modern but has a cozy ambience. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Definitely recommend visiting Cardinal!
