We ordered the Brule 75, Tropical cocktail, Gruyère bread, duck and waffles, half roast hen. It’s so difficult to find a restaurant in the UK where price and flavor meets expectations. Let me just say, this place blew away all expectations. The duck was perfectly crispy on the outside and tender and moist on the inside. The bones slid right out. The hen was soaked in a mushroom butter broth that hit all the right notes and wasn’t overwhelmed by salt, starches or the mushrooms. The bread had just the right amount of kick from the chili oil and balanced with the sweetness of the bread and saltiness of the cheese. The tropical drink was very well balanced with the foods we had with a nice citrus wash. I would say the only drink not to my preference was the Brule, but likely only because it was too heavy for the meal selection. We decided to add in a dessert last minute. Mengue lemon and waffles. Who ever would have thought dill works with this, how clever! Number 1 favorite UK restaurant so far for comfort food. 12/10. Peruvians and Haitians, grab an Irnbru for a taste like the sodas you have at home

Cibo non eccelso, si potrebbe fare molto meglio con qualche accorgimento. Servizio molto bene, locale curatissimo e super ricercato
