One of the symbols of Venice is the Rialto Bridge, which attracts the largest number of tourists. It is the oldest bridge in the city, connecting the opposite banks of the Grand Canal. Its length is only 28 meters and it consists of a single arch, supported by about 12,000 piles. Nearby the stone structure, there is the basilica of San Giacomo di Rialto and the Rialto market. However, the bridge owes its popularity among the guests of Venice also to the multitude of boutiques located along it. In these boutiques, one can purchase unique glassware produced on the island of Murano, exquisite jewelry, and souvenirs. Moreover, there exists a legend that the Rialto Bridge can make cherished dreams come true, one only needs to make a wish while passing under it.

Да, вот и мне удалось наконец-то побывать на старейшем венецианском мосту! Это действительно удивительное сооружение. Хотя в Венеции немало мостов, этот, как бы, стоит особняком, выгодно отличаясь. Еще отсюда открывается чудесная панорама. А вот что загадывать желание нужно, когда проплываешь под ним, я не знала. Ничего, еще успею в следующий раз, как приеду в Венецию)
