The Fotoatelier Seidel house-museum is the former residential premises of the Seidel family of photographers, showcasing the distinctiveness and authenticity of the atmosphere of a Czech town: photographs taken at the beginning of the twentieth century will help to better study the city's history and visually enjoy the beauties of its changing everyday life. Apart from the guided tours offered daily for an additional fee, there's an opportunity to get an audioguide for free: viewing the photographs and feeling the spirit of the bygone century becomes much easier this way.

Even if you're not a fan of the art of photography, but have a couple of days to spare for leisurely walks - visit this place, rest assured, it will allow you to touch something greater.

Wow, wat een mooi museum, met heel veel zorg voor het verleden gedaan. We genoten hier zo veel meer van dan van de rondleiding in het kasteel! De audio guide is prima. Echt een aanrader voor wie houd van fotografie en de geschiedenis er van.

Reis terug in de tijd met een bezoek aan een perfect geconserveerde Jugendstil villa vol fotografische geschiedenis. Voor iedereen met interesse voor analoge fotografie is het huis een goudmijn. Niet eerder in de wereld zo’n complete collectie gezien; niet alleen de foto’s zijn er nog, ook de camera’s, doka en studio zijn aanwezig. Interessant hoe de heldere audioguide ook ingaat op de man achter de camera en de wederwaardigheden van zijn familie. Veel van de locaties uit Seidels foto’s zijn nauwelijks veranderd, zie fotovergelijking.
