About

A medieval setting, underground spaces hidden from sunlight, and instruments designed for the suffering of ordinary people - there's no need to search for a time machine to see all of this with your own eyes.

A place that induces genuine horror is always filled with tourists - such is the paradox observed in the city square near the legendary torture museum. Small rooms with realistic equipment and wax figures vividly present how torture and executions were carried out in the Middle Ages, immersing visitors in the grim atmosphere of the Inquisition era - the necessary tension is maintained by sound and light effects.

Its convenient location and reasonable ticket prices have made the torture museum a popular educational attraction among curious tourists and travelers.

The walk through the museum takes around 15-20 minutes depending on how invested one is in the exhibits, it could have been longer for my taste. For that the price is very reasonable and there is a student and senior discount. All in all a unique experience and definitely recommend if you can handel a little bit of macabre history.
