A monument to a policeman appeared in Budapest in 2008 and has already managed to win the hearts of local residents and city guests. It is located in the Fifth District at the intersection of two streets right in the middle of the cobblestone pavement.

The sculpture, dedicated to the law enforcer, has an official title - "Keeper of Order." The statue is made of bronze and in details conveys the uniform and "parameters" of policemen from the past century. The law guardian's head is protected by a pointed helmet, and a curved saber hangs on his belt. The protruding belly of the policeman, symbolizing solidity and seriousness, so essential for such a position, deserves special attention.

Rzeźba Wojaka Szwejka, a bardziej znana nazwa wśród turystów to ,,Policjant”. Był to obowiązkowy punkt do zobaczenia i zrobienia fotki podczas mojej wizyty w Budapeszcie z uwagi na to, że mój ojciec jest dużym fanem i chcąc nie chcąc byłem zmuszony w dzieciństwie oglądać przygody Szwejka. Sama rzeźba nie wyróżnia się niczym poza widocznym dużym brzuchem, który każdy musi zmacać co widać po kolorze rzeźby w tym miejscu.

You cannot miss this guy if you enjoy walking and visiting Szent Istvan Bazilika, also read the myth as maybe you need to touch him for few more reasons, and not just taking photo,
