About

Anhalter Bahnhof in Berlin, once a bustling railway terminus, stands as a poignant symbol of history. Known for its role during the Holocaust as a major deportation point, this site bears significant weight for those interested in the events of World War II. The remaining arches of the original structure evoke memories of the past, serving as both a reminder and a testament to its complex history. Families often find it suitable for children to begin early educational conversations about history. With plans for a museum underway, the location promises to further delve into its storied past, making it a promising destination for history enthusiasts. Conveniently located within a short walk from the Jewish Museum and close to the Hitler Story Museum, Anhalter Bahnhof is a profound historical experience, though it urges better preservation to maintain its legacy.
