About

The Orthodox Cathedral of Saint Mary Magdalene has been situated on the Alley of Solidarity since the 19th century. Its construction began at the request of the growing Orthodox community in Warsaw. Before the wars, the place served not only for prayers but also as an orphanage and a church parish school. The temple faced many destructions and losses, but thanks to donations and the active participation of public figures, a significant part of the building was restored. The cathedral holds its rightful place on the list of architectural monuments of Poland and is protected by the state.

Es preciosa. Llegamos cuando se celebraba una ceremonia ortodoxa, y pone el punto de contraste con las iglesias católicas del resto de la ciudad. No se pueden tomar fotos
