Piațeta Sfântul Iacob din Rialto este o mică piață istorică din Veneția, situată lângă Podul Rialto, considerată inima vechiului centru comercial al orașului. Dominată de Biserica San Giacomo di Rialto, cea mai veche biserică venețiană, cu faimosul său ceas rotund, piațeta este înconjurată de arcade de piatră sub care funcționau odinioară prăvălii și schimburi comerciale. Atmosfera păstrează ecoul trecutului negustoresc, oferind un cadru autentic, încărcat de istorie, unde se întâlnesc tradiția, arhitectura medievală și viața urbană venețiană de ieri și de azi.

La vimos de casualidad una mañana bajando por el Puente de Rialto en dirección al Mercato, esta pequeña iglesia con su grandioso reloj,situada en el barrio de San Polo está considerada como una de las más antiguas de la ciudad,no la llegamos a visitar por dentro porque íbamos al museo esa mañana.Recomendable cogerse una mañana para visitar estás 3 maravillas(puente,mercado e iglesia).

Crkva San Đakomo di Rijalto je među najstarijima u Veneciji, ako ne i najstarija. Legenda kaže da ju je sagradio stolar 421. godine. Obično se naziva Kjeza di San Đakometo (mali Đakomo) zbog svojih malih dimenzija u poređenju sa svim ostalim verskim građevinama, nalazi se na jednom od najvažnijih mesta u Veneciji, pijaci Rijalto. Razne restauracije nisu izmenile izgled i strukturu, meridijan i zvonik u obliku vela. Njena veza sa pijacom je dobro predstavljena natpisom na spoljnoj apsidi koji podstiče trgovce da budu pošteni, da se potrude, precizno i lojalno postupaju u ugovoru. Unutrašnjost je klasična šema krstastog dizajna (koja se koristi na svim verskim građevinama renesanse) sa centralnom kupolom. Pod je podignut 1513. godine tokom jedne od mnogih restauracija kako bi se izbegle stalne poplave plime.
