Marktplatz mit Gastronomie und Läden. Die Stadtrundfahrt startet hier ebenfalls.

Schwerin, Landeshauptstadt - sauber und sicher ,schön hergerichtet, nicht langweilig, mit kleinen Gassen und sehr alten Fachwerkhäusern An Einkaufsmöglichkeiten jedweder Art hapert es nicht. Soviele Einkaufzenter am Marienplatz sieht man selten. Bäcker, Wirtshäuser, Friseur alles vorhanden und Lehr-Stand - ist mir nicht aufgefallen. Die Stadtrundfahrt mit dem Doppeldecker hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Das Schloss mit gepflegten Garten ,umgeben von Wasser - zu empfehlen. Einziges Manko , parken in der Innenstadt. Ja Parkhäuser sind vorhanden .

Wenn ich irgendwo Städte besuche, schaue ich mich auch auf den meist zentralen Plätzen um. Von Interesse sind dabei Rathäuser, die tolle Geschichten "erzählen" können. Aber auch die Häuser insgesamt haben ihre Historie. So schaue ich nach Besonderheiten des Gebäudes und nach Inschriften. Und wichtig scheint mir außerdem, wie sauber es ist. Dabei habe ich den Eindruck, die Bewohner kleinerer Dörfer und Städte sind meist darauf bedacht, dass sich ihre Orte sauber präsentieren. Die Menschen sind stolz auf ihren Ort, das soll jeder sehen.
