I am suddenly missing it over here in Houston, TX. I went to visit Eddie's Café as a breakfast place that my cousin invited me to and I miss it so much. The omelets were so good, but what made me fall in love in this place was the service as well as the coffee being serve without asking. If I return back to San Francisco this will be my number one priority spot to get breakfast. The only thing is the space is small and it does get pack (or it might be because I'm from Texas where everything is bigger lol).

The food and coffee are really delicious and will fill you up. Though, I found their receipt system a bit sketchy. At the end of our meal, they gave us a handwritten receipt with only the total and no breakdown of the cost of each item, tax, and tip. When we asked for an itemized receipt, so we could each pay the person paying the total the proper amount, multiple staff members looked and sounded visibly annoyed and frustrated. After 20min, they produced another handwritten receipt with each item (kinda hard to read). And another 10min after that, a printed receipt miraculously appeared with tax and tip showing with the total only (not itemized) as well as a random "Cash Discount" of $3.40, which was added to the total, so it was not a discount, but a fee for some reason. If I'm starving and nearby, I could go back. But if there are other options that have full clarity with their receipts and the cost of each item, I will always favor that instead
