Friendly and knowledgeable staff. They provided great recommendations for books to purchase. Can't wait to go back.

I was very excited to checkout MoAD and it DID NOT DISAPPOINT!! It was a roller coaster of emotions- from pure joy to deep empty sadness. I was honored to have the opportunity to observe such pure moments along this journey marked by such pain and also by extraordinary resilience, culture, community, achievement, and joy. I simply can’t say enough wonderful words. I recommend MoAD to everyone I know coming to SF. Please don’t miss this experience!

We love visiting this place from Stockton! Amtrak to BART and a short walk later and we arrive. The entire experience from arriving to exploring the well curated exhibits is a sure day of adventure and learning for our homeschool family. Kids 12 and under are free and educators get in for $7! Plus SFMoMA us right around the corner and Yerba Buena Gardens has a cute little kids area to blow off some steam and maybe even bowl if time allows.
