I came in with about 3 dollars and 25 cents in quarters with no intent of spending any more than that, and I still had a good time. That’s what I love about Musée Mécanique. It is a very accessible arcade with infinite opportunities to revisit no matter your budget, that also functions as a historical museum. Some of these machines that are supposedly up to 200 years old are in decent condition. A few have seen better days, but it’s a miracle in itself that they are functioning with all that age. My favorite had to be laughing Sal (I believe that was her name), she’s the gem of Musée Mécanique. While she may be a bit creepy, you really can’t help but laugh with her. Another honorable mention is the classic Pong game. They also have things that aren’t games or animatronics. Really, you’re bound to enjoy yourself here and find something to play. Even if you don’t, you can’t deny the great location. The pier is beautiful and by a lot of other notable attractions and businesses on Fisherman’s Wharf. I walked to Boudin sourdough after my visit! Overall, 4/5.

Witzig, lauter alte Spielautomaten. Die auch noch funktionieren. Hat Spaß gemacht.

Lieux magique !
