About

The Capital Circus is situated in the "heart" of Riga, close to the main train station on Merkel Street. The first spectator, fully immersed in a sea of tricks, stunts, and applause, crossed its threshold back in the year 1988.

The Riga Circus is part of the famous European Association, which allows it to open a specialized circus studio and even train novices in the challenging art of being at the center of audience attention. The building that houses the establishment today is under the close supervision of the state, being one of the oldest in Europe. Visitors to the circus will appreciate the 12-meter arena and more than a thousand seats arranged in such a way that everything happening in the arena is visible, as if on the palm of your hand.

Vienmēr esmu priecājies par to, ka būvē, atjauno, restaurē un cenšas saglabāt mūsu tautas vēsturi, svarīgas vietas, celtnes, tradīcijas! Latvija, Rīga, Merķeļa iela nav iedomājama bez Rīgas CIRKA!!!
