Riga Zoo is located in one of the most picturesque spots the capital has to offer - in Mežaparks, by the shores of Lake Ķīšezers. Visitors can meet the local inhabitants all year round, with the exception of January 1st and June 24th.

There are more than 475 species of animals living in the Riga Zoo. Most of them are allowed to be fed, which is always a delight for the establishment's most loyal visitors - the little children. By the way, large excursions and even horseback rides are organized for them here. Currently, having overcome difficult crisis times, the zoo is growing and continuously evolving, annually enriching its family of inhabitants with new animals.
